Eye of the beholder and all that but the ‘07 and earlier CTS V hasn’t aged well inside or out. And while $21,500 isn’t egregious, it’s definitely too high compared to what else is out there in these model years, assuming you really want a first gen anyway. ND.

It’s a reminder that trucks and SUV’s should be included in CAFE standards. These dumb things will be used as regular, on-road passenger vehicles for 90% of the time. Count them as such.

Of course.  They will avoid paying any income tax and maybe just have to deal with the much lower capital gains tax instead.  There is probably a way for them to dodge the other payroll related taxes as well.

The whole “executive team is forgoing salaries” is a bit of a smoke screen. The CEO makes $400,000 year in salary but over $2,000,000 in stock.

I wondered how long it would take for consumers to sour on their business model of buying used cars and charging thousands of dollars more than brick and mortar dealerships. Carvana is the Ticketmaster of used cars.

All the more reason to get the manual. I prefer the exhaust only be as loud as necessary for the performance I want. Any louder is just stupid and obnoxious. Every time I hear dickheads drive by loud as hell but just flowing with traffic I just think to myself, “It’s that wooooWOOOOOO”

Yeah, they did the same to me ($100? Seriously?), so if they fail, no loss; I’ll still have a functioning, paid-for car, and they’ll be a footnote in auto sales history.

In the spirit of Carvana’s insulting offer for my car, I will offer to buy the company for $10,000. The offer comes with a free bonus of spamming their inbox constantly asking if they want to sell for basically nothing.

Why are we not including the destination fee in the final price? It’s not like that’s optional...

I kinda miss the old days when a manual trans was the base transmission, not one you had to pay up for (in trim level, at least).
