Don’t get sucked into pandemic pricing on a depreciating asset.

Unless there’s an alternative, it makes no sense other than tricking the customer into thinking it cost less than it actually is.

Rewarding stupid people is not setting a good example for the rest.

Odds are any profit you make on this sale will just be a wash with premium on the next car. Not to mention you have to pay taxes on the new car as well. Unless you are really set on replacing your car it’s not worth all the hassle to try to make a few bucks in the process.

I remember back in the 2000s cars were cheaper in the US when the Canadian dollar was on par and Canadians were buying cars in the US and import back into Canada (still cheaper after taxes and fees).

Hopefully Ford will bring back some of the small, fun to drive ST’s (Fiesta, Focus, Puma).
