They’re for the heavy wet slop that laughs at brushes and doesn’t need scraping. Also helpful if you get the car warm enough (or have heated glass) and stuff gets loose.
This is my favorite response so far.
There’s two reasons. One, people with bad driving records pay much higher insurance, which makes them more likely to get away without it. And two, shitty drivers are often shitty people.
I think they’re talking about the victims in the crimes being treated different, based on class of status. Like why was vandalism to a bank or expensive condo building considered “serious” enough to access the cameras, while vandalism to a cheap apartment building or small business not considered serious enough to…
“If you claim to be a car enthusiast (or a responsible person) and live in the snowbelt; if you don’t own snow tires you’re neither.”
Am I missing something or does the article not really have anything to do with the crash? Yes L2 systems should be avoided for this exact reason, but in this particular case, AP is not involved at all and the driver had 40 seconds to react and not deliberately accelerate to well over 100mph. Autopilot caps you to…
Hyundai doesn’t really have a performance brand to dilute, though. They’re building it right now from scratch, which gives them a lot of freedom to make it what they want.
I would appreciate a telescoping/collapsible silicone funnel device that can be stored on the underside of the hood/bonnet. Would be really nice for any roadside fluid top ups because there is nothing worse than trying to land the stream from a fresh quart bottle in the oil fill opening and missing.
And parking ticket holder? I don’t think I’ve used a paid parking garage in over 10 years. Maybe as an option it would be OK.
I don’t think it’s a bad thing to lean more on the proportions and less on the overly dramatic details.
Oh yeah, that it’s ugly.
Seems as though a lot of the design is copying a student project from 5-6 years ago.
When reached for comment the only thing Roborace Car would say was, “Please place the items in the bagging area.”
What I think the real moral of the story here is the guy who was hoarding all those parts, but died before doing anything with them (using them or selling them).
This makes the cybertruck look like an angular silver turd
I was not prepared to be this impressed.
Incorrect. Horsepower is purely a function of torque not a standalone value. Torque is what an engine generates and is correlated into horsepower via a ratio of RPM. Knowing torque value at any given RPM will give you the HP at that engine speed.
Even that’s a bit of an oversimplification. What matters is in-gear power area under the curve. What’s the lowest power you make sweeping through a gear, and how much shifting is needed to stay within that power band. Torque is sort of a vague proxy for that.
