Advancements that will really make VR gear like the Vive and Rift soar:

I would not want to get hit in the head by Nolan Ryan. That guy had an arm more powerful than most people’s legs.

Well it’s not like the thing had any obvious signage. I see what looks like a smallish label on the right panel of the enclosure around it, but other than that I guess I could understand why some old lady might think it was supposed to be one of the Taoist Immortals or something.

For what it’s worth I don’t really care THAT much. It’s just a game. An expensive game. I paid brand-new price for FF XIII and was disappointed, so I’m just gunshy about doing that again for the new product.

“Yes, he’s a white guy, but he’s a really outstanding jurist,” he concluded. “Sorry, I think that’s important.”

This is why I relish being a late-adopter of new technologies. By the time I get a Vive these problems won’t be problems anymore.

Hey it’s the rails I object to. :D

Okay. I’m always up for recommendations. :)

Nope, never did. I haven’t really been back to Final Fantasy since XIII.

FFXII was pretty and interesting, but man it ended way before it should have. The story still felt like it had a long way to go and suddenly the game was over. I was seriously going, “Wait. That’s really it? No seriously...that’s it?”

I haven’t even looked at Star Ocean yet. Now I’m going to thanks to you mentioning it.

Really? I don’t know that it has that type of freedom yet.

Regardless of how cool the trailer is and the hype around the game, I won’t buy it until after it’s been out a while. I want to be sure it isn't a kill-a-thon on rails like their last attempt at a single player game was.

What on Steam costs $96.30? I suppose that had to be multiple things purchased at once.

For certain meanings of the word “great”, sure it’s a great film. Its budget was certainly great. The egos involved in its making were great. The all-in investment at all costs by WB has been great. The quality of the effects I suppose was somewhat great, but that’s debatable.

    First world problems.

I guess that is how it goes, but the thing about war is that it’s a contest to see who kills and destroys more to the point that the other side gets tired of it. I mean, I’m not saying I like, want, or approve of killing civilians anywhere, but if you can decimate an entire population I guarantee that the military

Sadly the gif was almost the entire video. I was hoping for more when I played it!

You’re right. I was trying to be careful to point out WB and not DC. I think the TV shows that DC’s IP have been used with so far have been far better than their movies, excepting Christopher Nolan’s effort.

That’s very close to what I was thinking. There have already been proven good, successful stories that sell with this property, and they all come from the names you provided.
