Neither party said what Maha Almasri said. It does make me wonder what she said other than the one post that’s in this article.

They conveniently didn’t say what she said. I’m not blanket defending her without knowing what I’m defending. That said, her actions should not have consequences for her son in this way. If he didn’t do anything to merit a suspension/getting expelled then he shouldn’t be.
That was the best part of the whole thing! Whoops, where’s Gen X? Typical.
“sandwiched between Boomers who hate us and Gen Z’ers who both hate us and think we’re cringe.”
“millennials’ precarious position sandwiched between Boomers who hate us and Gen Z’ers who both hate us and think we’re cringe.”
It’s almost like you didn’t actually read what she said. She literally pointed out that she’s been doing this for 30 years and that’s why she didn’t need one. She wasn’t talking about people who are just getting started or haven’t been around for 30 years to accumulate the power she has.
There are some people on the internet who whine every single time Aniston opens her mouth. And they have been whining about her for 20 years. See Jezebel, Celebitchy and Lainey Gossip. They spent years whining that she never talked about politics. Now they whine when she talks about anything political. You really need…
Intimacy coordinators exist to make actors more comfortable so it’s weird that they’re mad at her for feeling more comfortable without one.
The tl;dr of my comment is that I don’t understand Aniston’s comments as so unequivocal or all-encompassing that they could be fairly read as representing that no one anywhere has ever needed an intimacy coordinator.
“Yes, I understand the accused have a right to an attorney, and she did her job.”
Really reaching for content, eh?
My sincere hope is the site is not just back but returns to some of the former quality and insight that made it a an outsized-pop culture staple. Frankly the site had been in decline for years before its shuttering. I don’t mean to shit on you or any other writers who, I gather, have been working under less-than-ideal…
Ah, thanks...
Can you imagine though, if she was the one to start believing- and following through on policy that supports abortion? How much more of a threat she’d be, how attractive her stance would be for the republican women who would vote for Trump but also make sure their college age daughter gets the abortion they need?
It’s been a slice folks! Like it or not, I met some real wits here - IMissSplinter, Cheshire, SamBankman, Cashmere Rebel, The Thugnificent Pangaen, Barada_nikto_byotch, nopenopenopenopenopenope, Ron Swanson of Westoros, Ugh., The Ghost of James Madison’s Rage Boner (I salute you for historical and scatalogical…
that’s weird dude.
So is this going to be the comments section for the site funeral?
Holy shit, I just saw that. Unreal.
Unrelated to this story, RIP Jezebel - just read it in the NYTimes. I hope all the writers land on their feet :-(
I have no doubt you already know this, but “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free,” is a direct call for the area to be cleansed of Jews, something Hamas has made clear is the only way Palestinian ‘freedom’ will be achieved in their eyes.
