Thank you. I’ve been saying this for six goddamned years now. Politicians are not your boyfriends or your girlfriends. You do not need to love them. You need to vote for them so evil shit like this cannot and does not happen.

It’s anti science to ignore evidence that has shown that post-op male to female trans women retain around 88% of their strength, even after 10 years of testosterone suppression therapy and being a 1 nmol/l (equivalent of a CIS female). It’s not even a trans-exclusive if you step back for a moment but just another aspect of this weird societal obsession that if you’re a genetic freak but competing as a man you’re “superhuman”, a living god, someone worthy of respect.

It’s not transphobic to question the fairness of trans women competing against biological women. That’s called critical thinking or debate. It’s not inherently transphobic to have questions about something. Saying that is just a method to shut down meaningful debate.

Because a biologically female body would not perform well against biologically male bodies, in most sports. On the other hand, a biologically male body will perform very well against a biologically female body in any sport.  

It is a tough situation. I want everyone to be able to pursue their goals, but I agree with the ruling.
