I’ve always known I didn’t have kids and I feel the same way you did. I’m actually good with kids and I could have done it, if I’d had to, but it’s not what I would choose for myself.

I agree. In my case, I realized pretty early on that I don’t want kids, but that I actually think I could be good parent if I had to. It’s just not something I want.

After everything, Britney Spears is reportedly considering reconciling with her dad, Jamie Spears. You know, the one who put her in a conservatorship in the first place. Whatever our queen wants, I will support her, I guess. [TMZ]

Brilliant summary of the mental gymnastics of the ‘cancel culture doesn’t exist’ crowd.

Al Franken. More DC than Hollywood but he’s Hollywood-adjacent I guess.

Braison sounds like a contraction of braised bison.

I agree this is the parent’s responsibility but disagree with everything else you said, especially the idea that children need to be hit to understand anything.

Never said they weren’t. I’m talking about her fans only acknowledging her mental health issues when it’s convenient to the narrative at hand. That doesn’t help anyone and certainly not Britney who seemingly went from being under a conservatorship controlled by an abusive family to being at the mercy of parasite

If The Sun is to be believed (and yes, I know they’re a tabloid), she was paranoid and literally throwing knives..

Well, she got caught, no? Allegedly. So not exactly stealthy. And if it was with a staff member, she didn’t have to leave her house to do it so TMZ didn’t have a way of finding out.

He doesn’t deserve as much as Baumgartner for, sure. But he’s been babysitting her for 6 years and deserves to get some money.

See my other comment here. I’m not outraged because a non Jew is playing Bernstein, I just think it’s stupid to hire someone who has to wear a prosthetic when there are plenty of big nosed actors who could to an amazing job, regardless of whether they’re jewish.

I don’t really know her but I respect the fact that she says out loud what I bet a lot of celebrities feel about weird ass fans who feel entitled to have a say in someone’s life because they like their art. She’s right, they really do need to get a life.

Latina here, and we’re not a race. There are white Latinos, Asian, Black, biracial, multiracial, etc.

Gyllenhaal has even less nose though, would have needed a bigger prosthetic.

I think it’s dumb to use a prosthetic nose but I don’t necessarily agree he had to be played by Jewish actor. There are plenty of talented actors - Jewish or not - with nice, big noses of their own who could have played the part.

Britney’s fans admit she’s mentally ill when it’s convenient, and insist she’s just living her best life when it isn’t.

She didn’t have to marry him though. I hope she was at least lucid enough to have a pre-nup. But he akso deserves to get paid for putting up with her messy ass and babysitting her for 5+ years.

Yeah that part shocked me too. Parents need to realize they’re not helping their kids by keeping them in the dark. And no I’m not blaming the mother for what happened her but I do think a lot of parents have to realize that sex ed isn’t just about their kids consenting to sex, it’s also equipping them with knowledge

Great that it worked for you but I also have two friends who did IVF at 35 and 37, one was able to have a baby after 4 failed rounds and with their last available embryo, the other one had 4 failed attempts before giving up.
