So this is basically a court case to decide who’s messier: Blac Chyna or the Kardashians?

I don’t disagree. But again, short of finding a way to force RuPaul to do something with his show he doesn’t want to do - and doesn’t have to as long as his show is successful - the only way forward for drag kings if they want to go mainstream is to carve out their own space. I absolutely do think there’s space for

I’m sure Drag Race would probably be better, and less repetitive, if they included different types of drag performers. But at the end of the day it’s RuPaul’s show. It doesn’t have to be anything he doesn’t want it to be. But making RuPaul solely responsible for drag kings’ lacking representation is a copout. There

Thank you.

I know you mean well, but this really isn’t helpful.

Can you guarantee you won’t get in a car accident and die every time you take the wheel? Or that the plane won’t crash? Also no. So what’s your point?

Go on the trip if you can. If you’re not immunocompromised and you’re vaxxed and boosted there’s no reason for you not to go as long as you can avoid seeing your father and nieces and nephews for at least 5 days when you come back.

The worst part is it’s airlines that were pushing for the mandate to be rescinded, knowing full well the flight delays and cancellations this will lead to. It doesn’t even make good business sense.

This. I spent a lot of time in Europe last year and in general they have a lot more of a pragmatic approach to the virus, with less hysteria on both extremes (though there is a lot of that too). Children under 5 never had to mask really, and so they haven’t had to deal as much with the delays in speech and learning

Most of my friends’ kids have already had Covid and they all got it at school or daycare. The risk to kids is minimal and most people are back to traveling with their kids. I support the transportation mask mandate, and loosening and tightening restrictions as necessary based on case numbers, but we really do have to

This is about mass transportation, not the general mask mandate.

228K/year is hardly poverty so making this sound like they’re school teachers who make 30K a year and have to get jobs during the summer to supplement their incomes is a little disingenuous, even if it’s true they deserve to be paid more.

Yeah, they definitely left out some pretty major parts of his life... and I get it, he’s their dad. But that’s why they shouldn’t have been involved in making the movie in the first place. So yeah, basically, it’s a good movie if you pretend that it’s fiction.

They’re just all so bad. For every 25 dumb biopic or series there’s maybe one that’s worthwhile. The rest are just Oscar bait.

This looks awful, like the worst kind of overly earnest prestige TV that was probably some producer’s pet project and they were too powerful for anyone to say no.

Love RiRi but she needs to work on her taste in men.

This.

Yeah, the research for this piece seems sketch... and since their whole argument basically hinges on the presumption that the NAF is supposed to have a massive war chest it could be using to fund lawsuit, the argument kind of falls apart if they can’t prove that war chest exists.

Um, why do you ask that? I literally said “a slightly discapacitated Democratic president surrounded by a team of competent people is still way better than a Republican regardless of cognitive function” in my first comment here. I absolutely count Kamala as one of Biden’s team of competent people.

Not so much whataboutism as “democracy is already barely hanging by a thread and yet the American people keep insisting on voting against their interests or not voting at all and the Republicans are probably going to sweep Congress in November and then win in 2024 so don’t blame me if my standards for Democrats get
