As another active-exhaust mustang gt owner, I can tell you that my car is programmed for quiet mode from 9 pm to 9 am.. entirely for my neighbors’ benefit.

You know what would put a stop to shit like this?  Prison time for fraud for the owner and general manager. 

Was waiting for one of them to rip a LIDAR sensor off the roof and kneel on its cord while the other officers looked on.

If that is a law, it’s the typical case of laws not keeping up with the times. The vehicle wasn’t unattended, because its driver was there. The driver just happens to not be human.

Driving at night without lights on, wow, they really are getting as good as the average human driver.
