I’ve had that car since I was 16, I love it. for reference, I was 16 when Sugar Ray was still cool.

I’ve driven my friend’s 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 (with the 5 speed), I actually quite like it and so does she.

Yup

It seriously (not a joke) may have been the difference between a monday car vs a wednesday car. I know that the early 2000s Escalades were at least very comfortable. 2007 they were still pretty nice, but like any GM, trouble lurks.

I will, because it just might last that long.

My friend they know exactly what to spend it on: cocaine, lots of cocaine and corporate bonuses.

Also your username made me chuckle, I like it.

Mazdas are very nice cars, but I can’t figure out how to work the radios in newer ones. I guess my age is beginning to show.

Exactly!

Why? Because I have a nice 2001 Camry that always works? Or because I like buying cars that stand to the test of time?

As someone who once sold Chevrolets, I can say that the truck don’t last long either.

Why?

Who regrets buying something from them?

You know what? I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Fuck the car press, they’re a big part of the reason that every car feels it should be a sports car today. I just want comfort and reliability, thankfully my 2001 Camry still delivers that.

Even the (2015-2018) Escalade feels cheap and is quite uncomfortable with it’s hard “leather” seats that are shaped weird and it’s surprisingly hard ride that vibrates and jiggles a lot without really absorbing bumps. Visibility is nearly non existent as well. Add on that CUE infotainment bullshit and you have one

You know why these didn’t sell? It’s because nothing worthwhile was offered on them, and they are a blatant GM cost-cut “luxury car”. Absolutely terrible controls for the radio (Cadillac CUE) and the cheapest shit they thought they could get away with. The fact is too, Cadillac isn’t BMW, Cadillac buyers aren’t BMW

Why so much hate for the Avenger? I always found them to be very nice cars.

As someone who briefly sold cars, I second this. I tried to talk people out of doing this all the time, but then they’d just get a different salesperson.
