Joke’s on those of us who thought there had really been a reckoning in the Democratic Party over the last few years regarding how these sorts of allegations against powerful Democrats were treated. Like, I thought there was some genuine regret over how Democrats reacted to the Clinton scandals.

They think the lack of enthusiasm for Biden is actually a positive sign, because it proves he’s a Sober Realist, and that Bernie Sanders proved that having people enthusiastic about your candidacy means you can only lose.

Or repeatedly touching a young woman’s chest as she repeatedly tries to get away. Or grabbing a woman who’s trying to get away from you and holding her in place. Or stroking an uncomfortable woman’s neck. Or ... Or...

I agree. The sad thing is that the Democratic party won’t regard the toilet scrubbing comparison with horror because either way, the end result is your vote. The party is as insulated, outdated and out of touch as the Republican party. I wish that I saw that changing anytime soon. 

I just hate that there really is no line for Democrats. Any horrible behavior they accused Republicans of, they can justify in a Democrat. I just hope it gets better as more diverse candidates move up the ranks.
