I honestly didn’t even know there was such thing as an Allante owners club in the first place.

IMO this is the fundamental problem with the Citizen’s United decision. Corporations having the same rights as people should also have the same liabilities, and that’s problematic on many levels.
You could sell 3 of your Smarts.. That would leave only $24k more to go. :D
The metric system spares no man the misery of American defiance.
Mmmmmm...imports.
It kind of reminds of that story where a guy drives a Citroen 2CV into the desert, it breaks down (because Citroen) and he turns it into a motorcycle right there in order to get home:
Lane-splitters be hatin’
Bitch I’m a bus
Also, don’t drive if you can’t drive.
You could kill someone.
WHY THE FUCK DID YOU TURN!!!!!!!
That was not cutting off a bus. That was crashing into a bus.
...which is also a bad idea.
Cop testimony needs to stop being considered to have more weight than any other testimony. They’re just as likely to lie or be mistaken as anyone else.
I’ve seen it firsthand, more than once. When I was 18, i talked my dad into going with me to see a concert at a nearby ampitheater. I drove, and we took his pickup truck that had the usual toolbox in the bed (I grew up in a small town outside a small town outside St Louis). upon leaving, dad goes to check his toolbox…
This is all legal, and has been recorded as legal for a long time. As long as they don’t technically lie in court, they’re allowed to falsify evidence as much as they want to.
HA HA HA *cries*
“fired and prosecuted?” I’d be happy with “isn’t made Attorney General” badum tschhh
Most cops will lie. Not all, but not just some either. Whether it is to help the DAs, whom they work with everyday, cover up their incompetence, strengthen their case or protect themselves and their department.
It happens multiple times a day in courtrooms in every jurisdiction in the county.
Yeah, there’s no way only 12 or 13 cops a year lie in court out 36,000. I wouldn’t be surprised if each and every one of them lies at least once a year. Too bad the brass doesn’t seem too worried about stopping it, but that’d hurt their arrest records, wouldn’t it?
