I wish it was still Dakar. I miss watching Dakar every day. Is it time for Dakar again?
Correct. I should have said BMW motorcycles have not shown up in years. They no longer make the venerable Dakar which was a 650 and wouldn't qualify anyway. Replaced it with a Sertao, whatever that is.
They don't call it the last great adventure for nothing. Also, the South American spectators are pretty amazing, literally millions have come to see the race and they all share the same level of enthusiasm for all competitors, no matter if they are first or last.
This year's race has been (and still is) immensely epic and brutal, with enough great stories to make Hollywood screenwriters look like pre-school kids. I also think that Jalopnik is missing a lot of great stuff while concentrating about some pretty stupid/irrelevant things.
was thinking this too. having gone down what i thought were large dunes, that shit is just crazy. balls of steel.
God bless America.
DONT BRAKE DONT BRAKE DONT BRAKE DONT BRAKE
because, when you own a RTT you feel invincible and just try it first.
Fuck you!
The 22RE's never going away either since they don't know when to quit.
When the road is slick, swith to 4H. When the road is totally clear, switch to 2H. Is that so hard?
Well since a lot of people offroad their Taco's, it makes sense.
I was hoping that they were bringing the 22R back, but whatevs. As far as I can tell, no one sells a compact pickup in America.
call bull shit all you want. its true. this is more so coming from the off road world where there is a bit of tread on the sides. not sure i would do it on a car unless i am stuck but it is true. same reason you drop your psi to 10 or so when driving on sand or snow (if you want to stay on top)
2015 WRX and STI come with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires, which are definitely not all-seasons and should not be used in the snow. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.js…
