yea, east coast kinda sucks about that. every time we had to go back there (DC area) to for some training, we would show up in jeans/shorts and tshirt, and everybody else in the class and people teaching the class were all in suits. We were all from southern california, and in the software field, so nobody dresses up…

cops in the US have these as well. not all, but lots do. they just drive up streets at a normal speed and they read license plates. kinda a neat setup.
