I didn't mean to imply they're touted as world-beaters, but just as premium systems.

GM Bose systems are terrible for what they're touted to be.

They sold these new in the States, too. I remember one of them for sale on a Toyota dealer's lot here in Louisiana back in the day.

I do agree with you about the FCs & FDs...but I like the 8, too. To each his own I suppose.

This car and the RX8 I think are aging very well.

The "balcony" became not a totally uncommon sight in WWI. The highly successful Vickers Vimy bomber was set up similarly.

World of Warplanes, anyone?

That is six more snowplows than my city of 1 million has. We have two trucks to spread salt and/or sand. Period.

Ex-Shreveport resident. Yep, you're right. Call it East East Texas.

I really like this car.

So, by calling it a BRZ fighter, this is much smaller than the Hyundai Genesis Coupe? Had assumed this was essentially a Kia Genesis Coupe, in which case it wouldn't really be a BRZ fighter.

Everyone points out the Porsche problem - PORSH or porSHA?

Ads in America pronounce it like this, HUN-DAY. But recently on a trip to England, official Hyundai ads pronounced HAY-UN-DIE. So who knows.

Really, if this is an all-America list, it should only include sun belt cities. Sure Seattle, DC, Detroit may be BAD at handling it, but at least they CAN to an extent.

Funny you mention that, I tweeted to AutoTrader about that very issue. It seems to be limited to BMWs, too. I've searched a number of brands for manuals and the BMWs, particular 3-series, are almost always mislabeled. I wonder how that could become so prevalent?

I'll do you one better. Our city has a separate fire department for the outlying/suburban areas and they have neon yellow/green engines. I don't care how visible they are. It looks awful.

Yep, that's the one I meant. Oops.

Surefire way to tell if you're in a NATO country or former Eastern-Bloc: Is the helicopter coming to save you a Blackhawk or a Hind?

90% of the trucks in the South are RWD. No need for 4WD most of the time. No snow. Using a truck to tow your boat or haul whatever around doesn't require it.

My Audi A4 has it. I turn them on when we get tropical-level rains (fairly common here) and you can't see the front of your car.
