The source of this data might be a suspect.. "Remodeling Magazine". In my experience location determines most of the value of a home. With some exceptions most remodeling of already functional spaces is a poor investment and should generally be done for a homeowners own enjoyment of the property.

... and why I stopped riding motorcycles on the road.

Some people want a roommate and some people want a great friend to spend their life with. Cats really don't care much about their roommates and they are only interested in their own lives. Dogs do require more general upkeep but they care about their people because they are family. Dogs also read a person's emotions

Arizona... I see "Stand Your Ground" and raise you "Religious Freedom Restoration Act". Florida and Arizona keeping the contest for craziest state competitive.

The concept of an emergency fund is so that money can be accessed during emergencies... like a massive power outage or severe weather event. There are situations where an ATM isn't going to work.

This entire rant is predicated on the fact that a man's friendship is always secondary to his sexual drive. A man can be around a woman that he finds attractive, even fantasizes about but still has no "bang" her agenda. Sometimes a "Nice Guy" really is a nice guy and making these people out to be predators or creeps

Sept/Oct seem to be great times to take a Caribbean vacation. There is the risk of hurricane season but that same problem exists during the summer months as well. Plus the ABC islands are relatively safe from hurricanes that time of year.

Typically the "profit" a person makes in a home is eaten up by market cost and fees. For example a person pays 200k for a home and sell it 300k. After all the dust settles they walk away with around $275 which looks like a 75k profit. Until the seller buys their next house which has likely gone up by the same 1/3

Renting typically covers most of the big homeowner drains such as roofing, ac, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, etc. When a person rents they aren't shelling out for those monthly/yearly expenses like people who own a home. Renters also do not directly pay taxes or interest and they do not have the larger upfront

Aside from the "for men" line which is subjective based on the state and bread winner of the family, a prenup is just a good idea even if it says split everything 50/50. It can keep an already ugly situation from spiraling out of control with big lawyer bills and months of drawn out legal problems. IMO a prenup

The DTs are also wall mount since they are not rear ported. Look great next to a monitor or television.

Pascal is still one of the best learning languages. It is a gentle C that still allows a programmer to grasp the concepts of object orientation, pointers and records without having to master these day one. It is also strongly typed and freely available with decades of excellent documentation and how-to guides.

C# is written in C++. C# is a decent web language and an OK C/S environment but "powerful" it is not. It is a high level language incapable of powering the likes of OSes or games.

Disagree. Earnings are capped by a variety of factors with a four year being a very minor factor. Few will ever get wealthy working for someone else and four year degrees are a dime a dozen these days. Most people who graduate with a four year seldom end up in the career they were schooled in anyway. Experience

Razer also makes a BlackWidow with Cherry MX Browns called the Stealth for a quieter typing experience. Also something to note is the macro keys placed along the side don't interfere with the ESC key being in the top left corner. A lot of gaming keyboards screw this up and it throws off touch typists.

Pascal is a great language that has the power of C in a more readable form. Problem is it never really went mainstream. FreePascal and Delphi are the two leaders in Pascal development but hard to recommend them for a new programmer.

Go to a good hand wash place. Touchless car washes generally use a lot of water pressure which often scratches the clear coat. Most also use a pretty crappy wax to boot. I get mine pro detailed a couple times a year then do a gentle quick wash with car paint soap every couple months in between detailing. My cars still

This calculation is worthless. Most retirement calculators are way off the mark especially for big earners. Max the 401k, max the roth, get out of debt as fast as possible and save an additional 20%. If that doesn't do it, most of us are screwed.

There are several companies that put together custom gaming PCs for roughly the cost to buy the parts not on sale. If a person shops around they can save 10% or so but once Windows and time to build is factored in the opportunity cost is often nearly the same.

$20 for an oil change at a reputable service station is hardly a rip off. My time is worth more than $20 much less the supplies to make it happen.
