Actually they are quite good for quotation material since they are often the only ones to run any kind of test on these sorts of things. They also routinely get called on tests they might have gotten wrong including this one which they have tested in two shows now.

Millions of years of evolution, finite will power, the richest diet in the history of mankind and the most sedentary society we have ever been. Science and medicine will eventually find a workable solution beyond diet/exercise/surgery which so far hasn't worked for our society. I am curious as to what will replace all

There is a reason they won't do it... it is a horrible idea.

We have the WDTV Hub in the living room with the cheap WDTV boxes in each bedroom and lanai. Coupled with the cheap but dead simple Harmony 300 remote and we found a really nice system for watching TV/Movies and listening to music via Pandora. Best part is guests have access to our entire library without any fuss.

It is unfortunate that a company which prides itself on clean and friendly design didn't hold this back another year until they get it in much better shape. It is unlike Apple to push out such an unpolished product especially when another year on Google wouldn't hurt the bottom line. Feels a bit desperate even though

Denial is not just a river in Egypt. It is OK if everything Apple does isn't better than everyone else. Doesn't mean the entire product is bad. This Rep vs Dem and Android vs Apple thing gets a bit much sometimes. Both sides have things to offer better than the other.

Conservative, to conserve, hmmm... Seems to me the patriotic thing to do is use less energy as it reduces our overall dependency on foreign purchased energy sources and even puts some money back in our wallets. Nothing about this "bulb outrage" makes much sense to me. 1st world problems I guess.

I am hoping the bigger trend stops soon and we start seeing a better variety of phones. Part of me was convinced Apple held a patent on the smaller phone design. Small phones could also mean better battery life as the screen is often the biggest battery drain.

Better to fry a burger and smash it early on than grill it. Frying allows it to cook in its own grease. Similar to broiling then searing a steak being overall better than straight grilling.

11 years at my current job with 5 weeks vacation, 7 days for holidays and 5 personal/sick days.

One would think a "news" agency reporting a clearly incorrect story is the big deal but I just cannot get over the fact people are waiting in line for a marginal upgrade for a tech they already own.

Talk up torrents! Too many people in the usenet pool will screw it up for the rest of us.

Correct that it has never been a proud pursuit but there certainly isn't anything diehard or pure about it. Sitting in line to get food or clean water a person needs fits that description, but not someone waiting for a commercial product they don't need. Anyone in that line makes my d-bag list immediately.

Do they make an 8GB S3? I thought they came in 16 and 32GB varities. I know mine has 32GB internal and another 32GB SD card.

Doesn't this feel a little bit like Chevy trying to compete with BMW on BMW's turf? I like MS products but they aren't really a packaged product like Apple. They also have really few rabid fans. I certainly have little interest in owning an MS branded laptop or tablet at least any more so than a Dell or the like. I

Jobs would have and has done the exact same thing his "students" did. Android was in development and planned for release before the iPhone was out and about. It should be no surprise upon the iPhones success Android would adopt some of its features to compete no more so than Microsoft would. If anything he should have

Just because something isn't for sale today doesn't mean it holds no value. Also if this seems wasteful or useless to a person, they have lost all sense of adventure. NASA has contributed more to our technology life than virtually any other government agency and does so on a tiny portion of our nations generated

Sadly that is probably the reason but it should be because a group of people shouldn't be able to co-opt a former president for their own political agenda. He may have been a republican but he was a president to us all and reanimating or manipulating his image in this way is a bit sleazy.

relic... I use the address bar and my home page is gmail.

Somewhat of an ironic post coming from a group of people that detonated the much simpler and much better comment system. Oh and glass houses... [looks around and sees lots of clutter on this site]
