@mzmartipants: when this was posted there was only the 1G iTouch. These didn't have built in speakers.

@bswilson: F-Spot Photo Manager lets you change the date/time and it works for multiple pictures at the same time.

@MkFly: I might have to look into this, thanks!

@MkFly: how do you have the boot order set up in the bios? this sounds interesting

@heath: I'm smart enough to figure it out and guess what? I have a girl friend. I'm also involved in sports in high school so don't stereotype geeks.

@AlyssaKodie: It wasn't working for me either but I let it run for a while. When it still wouldn't work I created an account on their forum [forums.doubletwist.com] and used those credentials to log in and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps!

@DePaulBlueDemon: ummm they're definitely not expensive, all it takes is going to your local optometrist and asking for a free trial of contact solution. They will almost always give you a box that has a small bottle of solution and a case.

@$_philly;: lol that was the first thing I thought when I saw this too

@A3sthetix: I wish I could but sadly I have a 2nd gen touch :(

@AdamSnow: lol I suggested this in the previous post, here, so I am totally on board for this!

@Mark: sorry commented you in the comment I left above to underlok. I already use most of these too sans the printing server because it is hooked to my parents computer running xp so I just have it shared from windows.

@Mark: I set close to the same thing up using an old lifehacker post (the $80 server in 80 min. on iPod touch so don't know the link) and it's cool but I feel like there is so much more I could be using it for. Love PuTTY for tunneling at school and using it to get around our stupid blocks btw. :)

How about a guide to setting up the ultimate ubuntu server if it wins? ;)

@cam11: Loved the post though and it looks great from an iPod touch!

Just a small error, but towards the bottom of #8 you say "you're looking to get out their with your site," but it should be there

@spraveenitpro: Do you really have to put a link to your blog on every post you make?

@Chris Wilson: I'm all for having to manually fix the bootloader every time I restart my iPod, just give me the freakin' program lol.
