It’s time to get serious about car buying. We’re going to take cash out of savings because when a nice car lands it goes fast.
I had installed an oil catch can in the Soul incorrectly and the pcv valve was toast. With a new valve and correct routing of the hoses I managed to catch this much oil in a month. I am going to see how long it takes to fill this jar.
Now I really need to shop for a car for her haha.

While the Soul is getting a spa treatment we’ve gotten this Hyundai Elantra SE. One thing that really stands out to me about this car is how low to the ground it is. Of course I am comparing it to the Forester and Soul.
The Soul is at the dealership for recall work. Again. There is an issue with the ecu that lets the cat get so hot it could cause a fire in the engine bay. This is cooking the cat and o2 sensors.
