That’s okay, same here. Means we have more time to read books written by women. That said, I get your cynicism. I don’t think we’ll ever live in a world where power isn’t abused. The problem is deeply systemic in Hollywood and our general culture. We have to stop putting people on pedestals.

Now the actors have to refuse to work with all these sexual assaulters. Some independent studio will always fund trash, but the actors now have to do their part and refuse to work with them. Love that so many women (and men) feel brave and empowered enough to step forward and speak out about this awful behavior. I think this is just the beginning of the tide of men that will be taken down as a result.

I agree. As a woman, I have to know that sadly, sometimes the only thing that matters is my buying power. But I’m okay with using that politically. I’m most certainly not going to see Justice League and support Ben Affleck, no matter how much I like Wonder Women, and I truly hope it tanks so Warner can start sweating…
