Hey I held back from saying 100% didnt I. #selfcontrol

I’m angry at men, because they know they suffer but the privelege to them is worth it. They don’t care as long as they can maintain their artifically elevated position. If even for a second the suffering of men was larger than the privelege they got out of it, the entire system would be upturned in a second as well.

I have experience across a lot of cultures, i was born in an eastern culture and grew up in a western. I put the focus on men because generally, in both cultures, all cultures in fact, excuse a lot of behaviours in men that would never be tolerated in women.

I think if you’re willing to put up with some sexism, excuse it as “men being men”, shrug the little things off your shoulder, than its clearly not 99%. I identify as a radical feminist, that means my tolerance for any sexism is way below zero.

Im ace and live in Australia and I’ve definitely felt outcast if you will from friendships groups because I wasn’t into dating/marriage. It still surprises me because like you I thought this wouldn’t be an issue at all in todays day an age. Its amazing and more sad and infuriating at what comes out of people once a

What im worried about is if there’s an upswing in young conservative people. There’s a lot of young racist/sexist people around. You can see it in the gaming commnunity/reddit/even the whole neo nazi thing/milo whatever’s followers etc etc...so I dont think we’re going to be rid of this just because the older

So many men can look you straight in the eye and say they didnt do/say/act something they blatantly did. Women probably can do the same but men really seem to lie with a level of commitment where I think they’ve actually completely compartmentalised what they did. Like they actually don’t remember what they did until

I agree. That is literally my dream relationship. I am single and really need ALL the space, like an entire house to myself. So being in a realtionships with someone who lives across the street or something would be the best.

Check in weekend sounds like paradise. I think its an introvert thing maybe. To be able to crash on the couch for hours, no judgement is what lifes about :D

I found the gendered outcomes of The Great Depression fascinating. That while everyone took a hit, men more than women, it actually opened doors for women to get out and work as well. Which ofcourse paved the way forwards for feminism and womens liberation.

This was so great to read! A wave of women like this is exactly what all the countries need.

They just value women for their looks, annd after the male actors own looks have started going down. They have heaps of grilfriends and other women in their own young age, but then want a young woman who has experienced the same to “wife” with them. Its just disgusting no matter how you look at it.

This is awesome.

Personally I would have spoken up about this 50 years ago, and I’ll speak up about stuff like this 100 years from now. I don’t care about the political climate, I just want all things marriage/rings/last names etc to be critcised. I don’t care what culture or ethnicity it is.

Im with you all the way, this is like the last name debate all over again. Women want the cake and want to eat it too. They want to go into these regressive traditions and completely ignore the symbology/reality and everything surrounding it. They are all sheep. They might think they are different, but they don’t have

Good on her, but at the same time she is posing everywhere with Ben Affleck on social media. I mean I wouldn’t even know what to do in that position. But how does everyone feel about that?

Yeah bring back the heat on Affleck, I don’t want him as Batman!

Is it possible that a lot of women have internalised male fantasies though. Thats the issue I have with choice feminism. What if the women who are into this have just internalised the culture around us. I mean after all we’ve all grown up with it. So at what point is our choice our choice and at what point is it

I wish when asexuality is shows its made obvious in what it is. Because I hardly meet anyone who gets that I’m asexual, i have to given a lecture almost every time.

Everyone needs to check out Australian feminist Clementine Ford as well. Same strong, unapologetic tone. It feels so good reading something that is that strong.
