It always disturbs me just how many of our so called “liberal”, “progressive” actors/singers/artists etc. are part of churches that are very anti-choice, anti-women really. And that must filter into song lyrics, the dialogue and the stories for films/tv shows.

I don’t know about nuance, I think its more about respect. If you had a high level of respect for your partner you would really consider their moods and needs next to your own.
