Yeah. I’d recommend avoiding Cipro or fluoroquinolones at all costs.

This happened the 3rd or 4th time I had taken in. Previously, in 2007, I had to take Cipro for a pretty long time - 2-4 weeks, for a kidney infection that would not die. Got another kidney infection, took it again, woke up on the 6th day I had taken it, tried to get out of bed, and bam. No walking for me.

Well, that can’t end well. Cipro destroyed both of my Achille’s tendons and I’ve been recovering for 19 months and still have trouble walking. I can’t imagine how it might fuck some poor Olympian over.

Waited at the gate/flew the row behind her on the plane. Was seemingly pleasant, her son was extraordinarily adorable AND well behaved, and her dog was the cutest thing ever. Flying can be tough, but she was polite but not overwhelmingly friendly....but also even better looking in person.
