Ah, good question. I could probably check, but we switched from Xfinity to Google Fiber in October as soon as it became available. I went from having a $120 Xfinity Internet + TV package that “meh” to paying $105 ($70 to Google, $35 to DirecTV Now) for service that suits me a LOT better.

They are beta testing it; I expect it to come within the next few months. But you can pause/rewind on most shows. Plus, you have access to most of the channels’ “on demand” apps to watch stuff at your leisure.

DirecTV Now works on my Roku, costs $35/month, and has every damn channel I need.

John Leguizamo interacted with a Tweet for a company’s page I manage. It was thrilling!! My brush with stardom.

You mean, like, by getting an entirely new face?

MIMO/beamforming sounds like it could create a laser-like intense blast of heat to a focused area. I am really curious how all of this works!

I’m curious about whether or not these wireless power transmission systems generate a lot of heat.

Hi! I’m the guy who wrote the comment quoted above! Just to be clear: I nominated the Slim+, not the Slim (which I’ve never used and couldn’t comment on).

Read the article this is based off of; these spike strips are nailed to the trees. And then do a tiny bit of Googling, and you’ll find that the “better” (and I’m assuming these rich people concerned about their cars aren’t balking at price) are made of stainless steel.

How long until one of those spike strips falls off - or a winter storm knocks off a branch - and hurts a person or, God forbid, damages one of their precious cars?! How is this legal?

Possibly bars that plays bad campy movies in the background?

This list is missing World of Tomorrow - Episode Two: The Burden of Other People’s Thoughts!

Alexa, be warned that Adam is on to your game!

I’ve never run into a format that Plex can’t play, and I’ve been using it for a few years. Maybe I’m just lucky? Also, Plex has “direct play” options that bypass all transcoding. I used to have it transcode everything because I was on a slower internet connection, but now I’ve got Google Fiber and it barely transcodes

Ah, I’m a Plex Pass subscriber (bought it a long time ago for a lifetime deal) and all of my users have personal watched/unwatched statuses, plus they can see their partial progress if they stopped in the middle of an episode/movie. I didn’t realize this was due to my Plex Pass subscription.

Android has tracked this for ages, but never given you granular controls to turn things on/off based on usage and individual caps, though.

You were just Ready to Whip out the puns for this!

Plex has third-party add-ons and channels, though. Are they more populated on Kodi?
