I’m sure neither is happy with a breach in security, but both are delighted with the publicity and buzz. Its not really hurting anything, countering some of the negative press around Black Widow and helping gin up enthusiasm as two highly touted but largely unknown properties roll out.

It’s like a game of telephone. Do it enough times and it transforms into:

The name of the VFX artist is plastered in giant letters on the screen. They’re definitely in a lot of trouble, and probably more people will get the blame too. There’s no sense in saying that this is all just “marketing hype”.

Heh. Bohner.

TIL, while looking up recent box office to see how Delta is affecting things, that the highest grossing movie of 2021 is a Chinese riff on Back to the Future where a woman befriends her mom when she’s young and tries to set her up with a different man than her father, this willingly erasing her own existence. Feels

Damn you Ralph Bohner... Damn you straight to Hell!

The best thing about The Phantom Menace was the bootleg trailer with the audience cheering when Yoda appeared.

You’re not far off. The video is seriously a phone recording a phone recording a phone. A true trailer turd-ducken.

This is 100% a Sony fuck-up. Shit like this don’t happen under the iron Infinity gauntlet of Feige.

I don’t see how the real one could be coming Monday. From what I could tell, 3/4 of the VFX aren’t even close to done. Guess it coulda just been a way old version though.

Ma'am this is a Wendy's

There’s something kinda nostalgic in seeing such an awful quality bootleg leak that I had to watch it.

Why would anyone want to watch the trailer like this? Especially when it is supposed to be released monday anyways? I used to hunt for MCU tidbits with the best of them but I enjoy it all more now that I’ve stuck to just watching the first trailer or two and enjoying the blissfully ignorant surprises

“appears to be recorded off a phone with an enormous watermark—of what seems to be someone’s name—pasted over it” and “it looks to be unfinished and sent via an Instagram DM.”

Maybe if they’re doing multiverse stuff in thi film, they could put Taskmaster in this film while they’re at it.

Kevin Feige desperately trying to stop millions of MCU fans from feverishly sharing tweeting about Spider-Man: No Way Home:

I know it’s a Sony film, but it sure would be nice if Disney’s lawyers moved with this type of haste on the Punisher logo being appropriated by law enforcement.

Didn’t one of them have an incident where they ended up getting a Black woman arrested because she objected to being charged for silverware? (And by silverware I mean the plastic cutlery that comes in a to go bag.) Wasn’t there another incdent with a cop choking out a boy who had gone there after prom?

Their food is mediocre as hell. The ambiance is early trucker (all due respect if you drive the long haul). Gotta say though, that WH coffee mug I stole one night is indestructible. A true collector’s item.

Sure, but when they tried to schedule a meeting with the CEO, they were told to use the back door of the head office.
