One of them went to Morehouse!

As someone who loves the Boondocks energy of STBY...I’m definitely on the “Pleasantly surprised” side rather than the “Disappointed” one.
I’m guessing the best shot at a Latino or Latina headliner is Miles’ inevitable live debut, haha
He became Cap after the Nail during the Remender years (everyone has an abusive alcoholic father!).
Joaquin’s actor IS pretty great, in fairness
He’d have made it all back that year!
Throwing some quick shade at Chris Evans, there!
I think it’s less that they’ve transitioned from “apathetic to engaged” and more that their essential humanism (“It doesn’t matter if you think you’re right. Don’t be an asshole.”) no longer lends itself to taking the piss from both sides, now that the GQP is an *openly* fascist, nativist movement.
I really like Walker!
“They weren’t even super-soldiers...”
It’s more that Walker doesn’t *care* about being “right.”
Eh. I think Civil War argued that Tony was probably right on a big-picture level...but that Steve was right about protecting Bucky.
Steve was tight with the Wakandans...and he probably stole this shield from the “Him and Peggy” timeline.
I think John works quite a bit better than Karli...and that’s all down to Wyatt Russell, haha.
...and how many good points *does* he make, haha?
Sam spent years on the lam rather than follow orders he didn’t believe in.
We learn everything we need to know about Walker when Bucky asks if he’s ever fallen on a grenade, and he laughs and says “Yeah, I did this trick with my reinforced helmet!”
Just kept trimming the sideburns during quarantine, not the back of his head!
But seriously, *the show itself* is committed to arguing that “Steve’s legacy” is the man himself, not the title, or the shield, or the serum.
I dunno...I’m pretty sure that Reign of the Supermen is a failed story, because none of the men attempting to replace Supes were able to do it on their own!!!
