I don't have a Mac but I heard from a close friend that ML Dictation is not as good as Dragon NATURALLYSPEAKING (for Win). That is in terms of vocabulary and speech recognition. She switched recently from Win to Mac (ML) and was thinking about getting Dragon anyway.
