"you don't get the same experience of managing playlists, play-counts and ratings, or anything else, but one of the nice things about Android devices is that you can just connect most of them to a computer via USB and mount them like a drive"
The "30 second cure" worked twice for me in literally less than 30 seconds. It also worked on a friend who'd had them for hours. No need to drink anything.
As a freelancer that works with clients in many time zones, if I have a deadline, I go to a cafe to keep working. If it happens during the night, I used to go to IHOP but where I live there aren't any 24-hour Wi-Fi hangouts so I sit on the floor and just rock back and forth ;)
I wonder why Lifehacker completely ignores Roboform. I tried an old version of LastPass and I thougt RF was way better. Besides it works on multiple computers and my Android phone, besides all the form filling and password management features. It's like $10 a year and totally worth it.
I stick with Agenda Widget, I think it's free although I might have paid to support the developer. The widget is super customizable and scrollable, at least with certain launchers. VOTE: Thunderbird+Lighting with my Google Calendar data.
I tried the cheap, the expensive and the really expensive ones for almost 20 years. They all gave me horrible dry eyes to the point that some days I couldn't even get out of my house because my eyes would water so much. My specialist even said that I might have a tumor. I ended up getting Lasik and now my eyes look…
A few weeks ago I received an email with a request for a service that I provide but not in my area (first red flag). When I turned down the job, this person completely ignore me and insisted to pay in advance (final red flag). The scary thing is that the "client" was located in the States.
LF has recommended the use of Dropbox with Firefox Portable to sync multiple computers. However, this creates numerous file conflicts and the results are very unpredictable. Can you guys post an up-to-date way to correctly sync Firefox Portable with multiple computers (with or without Dropbox). Thanks.
