Skype is awesome. I just moved from the US to Lima, Peru and I use Skype all the time: to make and receive landline/mobile calls, and to video chat with my friends.

@Glasfeena: Is this channel for real? The points made seem legit but I saw the videos and most of the comments are disabled, there are no comments on the channel page and the videos have a high % of dislikes (most hoax videos don't).

I don't know how this applies to me but I've always had a very good sense of smell. However, I can physically feel when my sense of smell gets better or worse. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like something in my whole body and mind, rather than just a sense. It's weird.

I love this app, although I preferred the old version. But I see how a cleaner UI is more appealing to more people. I particularly miss the option to set the screen timeout and the lock timeout. I know that the problem is not on UJ part, more like on Android part, but I hope that can get fixed soon.

Oh please, somebody (else) sue this douche!

I use Thunderbird+Lightning and my calendars are automatically sync with the browser and my Android phone. No need for backups.

I tried it a few weeks ago and I really liked it but the problem to me was that I couldn't customize the dock. So I went back to Zeam. I hope they can add this feature soon.

I always carry some floss in a folded napkin in my wallet.

@Jeremy Cook: What calendar widget are you using?

I watched the video and I will stick to Zeam Launcher—it is more customizable. I particularly like the scrollable action menu.

@caliaa: For the record, there's no Exchange involved. Also, you just enter your Google info once and not for all services.

With Android phones, I don't ever have to backup anything, even when I recently switched phones. My Contacts, Calendar, Google Voice (calls and SMS) and Maps are all synced with my main Google account. Contacts and Calendar are also automatically synced in the cloud and Thunderbird.

That's a terrible idea. If you want to send a gift to a total stranger, go local. Every city has too many people in need.

Science and reality are definitely more awe-inspiring than any religion.

Diigo is so underrated. It doesn't only handle bookmars, it also:

Are oil-filled portable radiators as dnagerous as regular space heaters?

@Jophster: I couldn't agree more. Those people are horrible! I'm sure they also go around saying that there's a war on Xmas.
