It would be such a small dent but even a $5MM lease (assuming the Raiders would pay for renovations/redecoration between games) paid directly to the loan principal would save them a few million in interest payments which they could bankroll towards future payments on the principal, snowballing to a significant savings

If the Raiders lease Memorial Stadium and somehow bail out the UC Regents and their almost-bankrupting of Cal with those moronic stadium renovations and usurious loan choices, they’ll go out of town as conquering heroes, so there’s absolutely no possibility of that option happening.

They might as well have hired Hans Landa, instead of someone who just looks like him.

Pat would be extremely disappointed to have his family affairs play out in the public

“Will to win” is what fanboys use to replace the phrase “he was an asshole loathed by all who knew him.”

I bet it would be a better deal if it was just between the Mets and Marlins. If only the Mets had a prospect they could throw in to sweeten the deal. Someone with ties to Florida who could come in and be a savior for that team.

Yep, this is how I justify wanting Vizquel in there, and think it’s insane that Baines gets in. The “tell the story of baseball” test is the one that should matter the most, in my opinion. Maybe Vizquel couldn’t hit all that well (or was never very good/great at it), but if you think about 90's/early 00's baseball,

Their offense is literally designed around a QB who Kaepernick backed up and then replaced, but I guess they’ve already substituted the Sanchez package and for some reason an error keeps popping up when they try to delete it.

Steelers Fan Eats A Headbutt

Wrestling coach here. I am tired of hearing the same thing from my fellow coaches and wrestling parents: “Wrestling toughens these kids up”; “I made my kid wrestle to build character!”; “I signed my son up to wrestle to make him tough!”

When a douche with bad hair, stands on his chair.

You’ve heard of Twitter.

In the hoc-key justice system, the players are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the referees, who investigate on-ice crime; and the Department of Player Safety, which haphazardly prosecutes the offenders. These are their stories.

Anyone wanna know all that I know about Tommy Boy?

Elle King had a song about what these videos do to me.

Here, here. Publicly funded stadiums should be used no more than 20 times a year. We must limit depreciation through wear and tear.

Why did they have to make the headline so complicated?

I’m just so disappointed that this article didn’t begin “Avril Lavigne isn’t dead--she’s born again.” It was RIGHT THERE!

Thibs will get his revenge tonight by playing Butler for just 46 minutes.
