To be fair, the original cartoon had kind of bland poppy songs compared to their look, though that made more sense in the 80s. Pretty much everyone had a crazy look regardless of their sound.

I’m a huge fan of stylish 60s spy/crime movies. While this will obviously be shot in a modern way, I’m really looking forward to seeing a throwback to those times. Not to mention that I really like Cavill and Hammer and always want to see them succeed. :D

I do both of those things, so that works out.

As sad and strange it is to still be that racist, it really confuses me that someone would flip out over something almost 50 years old.

My cousin and uncle had most, if not all of the star wars stuff. I used to play with them when my aunt babysat me. Most were in trash condition as they would take off arms and use red marker to simulate war injuries.

My mom is cool most of the time. I don’t think anything else in that yard sale was mine, but she figured since I was too big for it, that it didn’t matter. I still loved it though.

Yeah, my mom sold mine in a yardsale too. I was not happy about it.

You can’t mention Darkseid without also bringing up High Father, who gave his son to Darkseid in exchange for Orion.

To be fair, a solid black ninja suit would stand out almost as much as a white one. More often, they would be navy, or the ninja would be in a costume that resembled what people in the area were wearing. It’s much easier to blend in when you just look like other people. :P

That’s what most robot arms were made of back then. :P

Why do people keep putting down the 76 film? I’d place it in the top 5 scifi movies on the 70s, along with Star Wars, Alien, Close Encounters, and Silent Running.

A) Box looks awesome. Given his function and the time period, his looks makes sense.

I get the concern, but Marvel has done really well handling large casts so far. I do think some of the roles will be glorified cameos, but if done right those aren’t always a bad thing.
