While they are very interesting, I could see why they would be incredibly boring to study first hand. Anthropologists thrive on story telling, ritual, and games. Having to watch people do nothing but work, eat, and sleep would get very old.

I wish the Hero Project was doing better. The Ranma figure is pretty awesome.

Docudrama general refers to a documentary that shows dramatizations of actual events. That's how it is in the US anyway.

Sadly, this type of study won't make any kind of difference.

Technically, mockumentary is still correct of a drama. Though there is a less used term for dramatic mockumentaries, "docufiction".

I still think The Bone Wars should be turned into a movie. I really am surprised it hasn't been already. Such a dramatic part of history seems perfect for the silver screen.

I enjoyed it a lot too. And I didn't know he was going to be in it, so that made it even better.

I think the problem in many cases is that people nit pick and follow tropes. When you look at a movie that way you will find problems with it, no matter what they final product is.

lol... Oddly, I found that out a few hours after posting that reply when I started reading about Dr. Occult and found out Dr. Mystic was the first. Really weird timing with that.

He was the first one with a cape though.

Green Arrow is actually a good one to give that treatment though. Heck, he was darker than Batman at one point in time.

Same here... I don't think they've done an episode that I didn't enjoy at all. Even at there worst they are still funny to me.

I don't get the Dr. Katz hate. Sure it's not the best episode, but I still enjoyed it. Though I guess that's true on some level with even the worst of episodes.
