I love how this utterly minor character has so captured the imagination of so many viewers! And I liked Gendry and would like to see him again, too.
Ever been the late guy to a meeting? Jaime totally had that late-guy-to-a-meeting-look on his face.
Only Clive Russell the Blackfish I think. The other Scottish actors on the show are The Hound, Pod, Lysa Arryn, Robb, Ygritte (though she is proper posh and doesn’t have an accent), Jorah and Jeor Mormont. And a couple other minor actors. Not that you would know cos accents etc.
I think this too. The waif seems pretty petty and childish to be in an organisation like that.
Uncle Benjen Stark bossily rolled through the woods wielding a flaming flail that he used to verily obliterate the Wights trying to lay waste to Bran.
OMG, Lost. DO NOT GET ME STARTED IN IT. Every time someone that justifies the shitty ending I pull my hair out.
This is show blend. Like how Euron is not the Crowseye. “Uncles without titles” :)
The Coldhands thing is really weird because GRRM has seemed to debunk the fact that he is Benjen and the children of the forest say that he is very old. So I wonder if this is a show blend or will be canon. I’m happy to see him and I initially thought it was him while reading the books but was convinced that I was…
It really comes down to poor Uncle-Dadding on Jaime’s part.
I’m tired of her but am ALL IN when they bring the DRAGONS. Listen Dan and Dave, we’re hear for some mfing dragons, mmmkay?
As for the sword, I totally wanted Gilly to say “yeah I’ve seen one before” and say Longclaw was better or something.
I don’t know what Margaery and/or Tommen might be playing, but I honestly can’t be bothered to care with what’s going on at King’s Landing, right now. It’s so inconsequential. Nothing that Tommen does as king seems to be having any major impact on the world beyond King’s Landing.
Anyone else think it was dumb that Jamie was surprised that Tommen was in the church when he is supposed to be the head of the Kingsguard, especially considering all of the other Kingsguard were there with him? Then later Jamie is all like ‘You can’t fire me.’ when Tommen should have been all like ‘Where the fuck were…
I can’t believe that Lord Tarly would just leave his precious Valyrian steel sword like that where any rando can creep in and steal it. Don’t men usually keep their swords near easy reach in case of emergency? And I’m starting to believe the theory that Dany is the villain here. This woman, who knows nothing of…
It was an okay episode. I liked Sam and Gilly’s scenes, showing us the home life from whence Sam came. His mom and sister are super cool and accepting. Even his “perfect son” brother seemed cool, although he wasn’t going out of his way to gush over Little Sam and Gilly. Dad’s a puckered asshole of a guy, and I’m…
Here’s whaddup: Bronn is coming back and Arya has finally come to her senses and will (fingers crossed) go find Gendry. That’s all I need. Gendry. Gendry. Gendry.
This post made the front page of Jezebel, so I’m sure many would appreciate if you edited the spoiler out of the article title.
I’ll never get tired of seeing Khaleesi ride her dragons.
