I am white and my family always has cornbread at Thanksgiving. Real cornbread, cooked in a cast iron skillet, not that Jiffy mix crap. I didn’t know this was a thing. hmm
Wait, you don’t put fresh squeezed orange juice in your cranberries? I can see why you don’t like it.
A party cut or party slices gets your pie cut into more than the standard number of slices. I used a party cut in both Ann Arbor and Atlanta in the last few weeks and did not explain it to anyone. Got what I wanted. Cut in squares gets it, shockingly, cut in squares.
I get 2.5% cash back from a USAA card. I use AmEx Everyday for 6% cash back on groceries and a different USAA card for 6% back on gas.
I have have been preparing the best Thanksgiving turkey for almost 40 years now. It’s simple - cook your bird for 80% of its cooking time upside down in a cooking bag. It will give you the tastiest breast you have enjoyed. This year I am cooking two birds. One Grandma’s way (above), the other a more traditional way,…
I prefer cash back every month. Otherwise I am very happy with my Amex Everyday card. I get 6% back at the grocery store (PSA - WalMart is not categorized at a grocery store).

They are for sale which is different than on sale.
I am not aware of any phone company that “gives” you a new phone every year.
Scheduled airline flights almost NEVER leave more than 10 minutes early. And then maybe 15 minutes early. That’s the magic of a schedule, you know when things will happen.
It would be helpful if someone would create a ubiquitous device to fit in one’s pocket or on an arm and easily set an alarm or something. But it’d probably never be more than just a fad.
I would have preferred Apple buy Sonos over Beats. I had a Sonos system last fall (two Play 1's and a TV bar) and it never cooperated with my wifi. I enjoyed them when they worked, but often would lose the connection during playback.
I lived in Memphis for a couple years, first and only place I have had this abomination known as dry rub. If we have ribs and my house, don’t wear a white shirt. My ribs will be wet, messy and damn tasty.
I second this test. I recently purchased a Yeti and Rtic. Found comparable results. Will test other cups as the need to purchase arises.
I second the above. I love me some Cricket, I fired AT&T over two years ago. Saving more than $40 per month. It might work for you, if get AT&T service you can get service with Cricket. It DOES NOT offer service outside of continental North America. May want to check that out if you are a global traveler like I am.
For the last 19 months I have used the same well known battery case on my iPhone 6 and 6s. When I upgrade it will no longer be useful as it will not fit my phone. The next time I spent $100 on a case, it will be a multi-item battery pack. My Mophie is nice when I am out and about in a foreign land and do not want to…
That’s no sammich, you just copied my cable TV remote.
That people visit NYC and go to Olive Garden may be, as a person filled with wanderlust, one of the saddest things I have read.
