On the Lowes site it says the 779 has the Cutline system, but that saw doesn’t have the XPS light AFAIK. It’s says Cutline but nothing of the CPS light. But when you look at the DW 780 description is says XPS light but nothing of Cutline system. Maybe the description on Lowes is just bad, but I though the

Lasers always get misaligned and done measure kerf. Dewalt’s XPS system using LED lights is far superior, and so simple in design and 100% accurate with no adjustment needed (because it’s just the blade shadow) I wouldn’t be surprised if every miter box has one eventually.

This! Exactly it’s the XPS system. The Cutline name is the old laser line I think.

I assume the per bulb cost should be cheaper to work from a single hub rather than build all the “smarts” into each bulb. Greater bulbs = greater savings. But I’m not sure. This is assuming the hub directs the bulbs via your home wiring.

“See you on the other side. We’re with Harambe now.”

The sad thing is some radicalized guy that “looks white” could open fire at a NASCAR race and if another guy with a gun tried to stop him and just happened to be darker complected that good guy in that situation would probably get gunned down or otherwise murdered by all the hillbillies around him while mister radical

The funniest thing is that you and/or the idiot tweeting seem to think these guys are afraid of being shot or caught. Most if not all of these terrorists are going in knowing that they will likely die during the attack and are more than happy to.

Umm, welcome to the world of differing opinions? Also known as, reality.

Interesting. I’m guessing that guy was Canadian? Couldn’t understand some words he was using. Not sure they were any kind of English, which doesn’t instill any confidence in his opinions. Guess he doesn’t really like how these tools are made any more? I was expecting some kind of recommendation for a good alternate

Just saw that acme tools has a bare hammerdrill for $149, but comes with a free 5 amp hour battery. That big of a battery will drill plenty of holes on a charge.

Forget the crappy Amazon deal for the hammer drill.

Go to acne tools and order a bare dewalt hammer drill for $149and get a free 5 amp hour battery that retails for $129. That’s a great deal and the 5 amp hour battery is more power than the 1 or 2 anemic 1.5 amp hour batteries that come in the kits!

Ass you said, if a person would rarely use it, then battery life may not be a concern compared to the much higher cost. Also, if they have a decent size battery or two then they should be fine. Just don’t see the point of having an extra tool with a lot of extra cost for rare use. Now if they need it often then buying

I just got this same drill kit brand new off eBay for $129 this past weekend. Don’t neeed sockets so don’t care about them.

Why not just have one drill that has the hammer drill capability when you need it instead of buying two drills and have one collecting dust? The wired hammer drill by itself is $80 usually, unless you go get a really cheap crappy one, which still won’t be less in total cost than this deal.

Wow, fucking millennial man. Why not just tell your bestie in study hall to ask around if Joey like-likes you and wants to take you to the big dance this Friday!

Another bullshit tax advantage that only helps the already well-off is mortgage interest tax deductions. It sounds like it helps everyone, but when you do the math it really only helps people making enough money and buying expensive enough homes that they don’t really need that kind of tax break.

This set is probably ok, but be careful with other combo sets that include tools like circular or reciprocating saws. Apparently Dewalt makes cheaper versions of some of their tools with less functionality or more plastic parts to put in these combo sets to drive down the price. Of course you can’t figure that out by

Your question had no bearing on my use of thermostat control as well as the vast majority of everyone else so FUCK you and your narrow view of thinking everyone else’s situation matches yours
