let’s go with the simple answer: MUSIC. Can you think of any beloved JRPG that didn’t have an amazing soundtrack or at least a very notable track or two? All my personal faves do:

blasphemy! 1 is every bit as good as 2 (for its time)! To me, it’s like Persona 3 vs. Persona 4. Both mindblowingly great, and while 4 is probably slightly better than 3, 3 was more revolutionary for its time.

Counterpoint, I hate Suikoden 3, but absolutely loved 1 and 2. Maybe it was the art style (going from aesthetically pleasing sprites to clunky polygon models of a bygone era... but even then, I didn’t mind Wild Arms or FF7's look at all). Maybe it was the LACK OF MUSIC during potentially tense or heartrending scenes

also...

THIS LOL

For me it doesn’t matter, but I suppose in terms of gauging whether or not the distributor is gouging us or not, I assume they’re not charging some ridiculous markup to be greedy. Maybe some licensing costs in addition to expenses for design and manufacturing buoyed the price.

noooooo (although I still enjoyed FFTA)!

guess so, but if $50 provides many hours of enjoyment, I’d consider it worth it.

it would be so much better! Also, a Final Fantasy Tactics Monopoly pls

adults with disposable income will buy it. $50 is whatever. I spend $50 on 6 shots at the bar.

One vote in the general election for a protest candidate DOES NOT make “real change” happen. Regular grassroots efforts for the favorite causes makes change happen. Make change happen where it counts, not as a shallow-minded boost to your pride.

+1 for the range nerf suggestion that gets boosted with molten core

Of course you can. I listed several of the mitigating circumstances. If you choose to ignore them, that is completely on you.

barring any new facts about the case you can present to me, you don’t seem to know much about how our justice system works (I agree though, killing someone is horrible).

Gladly. The robbery was premeditated, yes. The killing, perhaps not, according to this local news article: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/pol…. The girl grabbed a gun in her boyfriend’s car last minute because she was “nervous” (according to the detective) and fired it in distress one time during the fight.

AMAZING haha. But, a couple things:

a bit of an over-simplification... Granted I do take your point about Daniel Zeitz being 28 years old.

hmmm, sounds like you should be living in a developing nation or third-world country. That’s not how things works over here or in most civilized places in the West.

thank you for that thoughtful analysis

Only premeditated intent to commit armed robbery. Not intent to commit murder. As this local news article suggests (although it is not clear), the gun may not even have been part of the original plan. Supposedly, she grabbed it last minute because she was nervous. It was just her boyfriend’s gun that he had in the
