...unless I was Bastion or Torbjorn. There’s too much shame there to even think about upvoting myself.

I feel ya. As I said, it’s a solid game, and more importantly, all your friends are on it. So, regardless if I think Overwatch is superior, you’re still having fun with your friends.
Honestly, I think the injection of Blizzard’s personality and presentation makes a world of difference. I don’t know why, but Overwatch kinda feels like the FPS equivalent of what Street Fighter 2 was for me as a kid. Maybe not revolutionary to some, but just an extremely polished product.
I enjoyed Battleborn and spent a good amount of time with it in both the beta and retail versions. Unfortunately, I feel Overwatch is superior in practically every way. If Battleborn was a B+ across the board, Overwatch is an A+. Just my opinion. Battleborn is still solid.
I never upvote Bastion or Torbjorn on principle.
YES, this is the comment I was looking for lololol
this game looks so bad, I wouldn’t give them a dime even as a neo-nazi
YALLSOMEHOES
yep, me too!
I actually really like the Overtime system :)
and you will experience A LOT of that. It’s extremely gratifying, after being stonewalled initially, to finally break through and capture an objective (or stop/escort a payload in the waning seconds of a match) following a change in individual/group strategy or a brilliant moment of team coordination.
What is it with Blizzard and amazingly memorable catchphrases?
you beat me to it. I think I basically echoed your sentiments before reloading the page and seeing your comment.
one more thing I want to stress is that the base mode is NOT TEAM DEATHMATCH, which in my mind emphasizes a K/D mindset. The game alternates between Capture Objective and Escort modes, both of which are pretty brilliantly crafted and encourage people to work together towards a common goal (not to mention, it forces…
I feel ya (Bloodborne be damned, even if it is a good game). Overwatch is extremely accessible but still has a substantial amount of depth for FPS veterans. I found myself just wanting to play more instead of wanting to reach a good stopping point. Everything about the game is just so polished and refined and as…
not sure if you’ve seen this yet: http://imgur.com/gallery/9yawu
as someone previously obsessed with K/D ratio (although never at the expense of the win. I will continually kamikaze bomb objectives to win the round!), this is so refreshing. Granted, I do have a pretty decent K/D ratio in Overwatch, but no one cares and people getting the props are support role players or the people…
you can buy outfits and poses from the currency you earn from loot boxes (or is that what you were referring to?)
I’ve played about 18 hours so far and the game is amazing. As a jaded 30+ year old gamer that gets bored with games very quickly (even the best of them these days), that is quite a feat.
is the “Coke Lot” what I think it is?
