Kay comes off as a Han Solo type, but female. Always stealing, gambling and getting into tight situations. Which I don’t mind. It’s a cool idea.

This is like the Star Wars game of my dreams. Was already on board with the classic Ubi sneaky combat and open world, yelled “HOLY SHIT!” when she got in her ship and the player takes control in space. Just freaking awesome.
To me open-world means “open-world single player” which is very different from an MMO, so I think the statement’s still accurate, but I hear your point.
I was also surprised by the lack of sabers! So good!
Man, can’t recall when I was last this excited by a Star Wars game, but that looked really fun. Also I am glad that I was wrong as I was constantly prepared to groan when someone pulled out a lightsaber, but avoided that trap.
The best one i’ve seen so far is Genos from OPM and Mike Tyson
They’ll still sell out; there’s a lot more people for whom $3,500 is a chump change than there are units Apple is manufacturing.
It’s a price for early adopters, but there enough of those (along with enough good will for Apple products) that I suspect this will be successful. There’s no doubt they could build a similar product at a more affordable price point in the future; just look at the iPhone.
Respectfully, this thing poops on SC create a fighter, which honestly hasn’t been anywhere close to where it was in 3. SF6, allows you to tune every aspect of the character, not just general appearance. As far as move list, there’s far more freedom as well, instead of only letting you pick one stencil move set, you…
Now you can have Lincoln throw hadoken.
As someone who is both trans and a professional writer: Our intent doesn’t mean a damn thing. And I’ve known Link was a trans icon since, oh, the 80s or so. So, if you support LGBTQ+ folx as you claim, perhaps just listen to us even when you don’t understand us.
Pretty much my thought on it as well. Yes Link is androgynous, but there’s nothing about him or the game(s) that makes me think LGBTQ+. It’s something of a non-troversy. Of course, people are free to see things as they want, but this feels rather forced on both sides imo.
Theyre not saying Link is officially and canonically trans. They’re saying Link isn’t a super masculine character the way mmostmale heroes are portrayed, and Link’s androgynous look lends itself to folks playing Link as a trans or differently gendered character.
Fox News and being angry at video games, a long-standing tradition.
Interestingly, I knew I was trans/ nonbinary since I was a kid, and before I even knew those such words existed.
Hiding these terms from kids isn’t gonna not make them trans/ gay/ etc, it’s just gonna make the kids that are these things feel incomplete. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How does a Bison Dollar compare to a Shrute Buck?
Also hang onto those Bison Dollars! Every one of those will be worth FIVE British pounds.
This game really boggles my mind. The sheer scale of the map is one thing but more on point for this article is the gameplay possibilities, even when compared to other games with crafting or with interesting and unique physics meant to be taken advantage of like it’s predecessor, are immense.
I don’t think these strats can really be called “cheeses” since they’re clearly intentional. If you weren’t supposed to ascend through the rock dude or use your block-grabbing powers on the robot made of blocks, those interactions wouldn’t have been coded in.
