Simple and to the point. I like it.

Appreciate the advice!

I still need to watch Fullmetal Alchemist. Supposedly it’s one of the best anime of all time?

Probably an elitist opinion, but I spend $15 on one drink in the city for a mildly intoxicating and short-lived kinda-high. If Overwatch’s story missions are even giving me a couple hours of genuine fun than it’s worth it to me. I spend more money on lesser things on a regular basis.

Ahh, thanks for the note and additional perspective! “Variety is the spice of life!” Still sounds like a blast. Maybe I’ll do just that - subscribe for a month (and then be too lazy to cancel) :)

I kind of love this. I’m a sucker for musicals and a show that taps into the wonder of exploration sounds like the perfect feel-good show I could watch anytime (instead of having to be “in the mood” for - i.e., some darker shows).

yep, that’s exactly it. A decent 7/10 review tempers expectations a bit so anything the game does better than expected is a pleasant surprise.

This is both hilarious and depressing. Thanks for sharing!

I feel like swatters should be fairly easy to find only because in this age of idiocracy, people will promote their crimes on social media for likes and clout. After all, what’s the point of doing it if no one knows? From idiotic teens to deranged serial killers, it’s all a cry for help, notoriety and/or attention.

I’m down for another Loki go-around. I thought the first season was a bit overrated, but not without its moments (e.g., early scene-setting and suspense-building, classic Loki and the variants, Jonathan Majors’ performance as He Who Remains, etc.).

of course, how could I forget!

I haven’t played Fortnite since 3-6 months post-release, but this is cool as hell (obviously, check the username).

I welcome all the disclaimers. Helps me set my expectations which I imagine only help with enjoyment of the game.

Appreciate the disclaimer! I don’t suppose I’d be put off by grim and dark, but to be fair, I’ve always liked Final Fantasy best when you’re out exploring the bright and shiny world, so this is good to keep in mind.

I can’t wait to play this game. Maybe I’ll start this week. Thank you for a masterful sell job. Just gotta get through Tears of the Kingdom first!

If you’re trying to get me to play the game, you’re doing a phenomenal job.

Love it!

Amusingly, the point that convinced me the most to move FF16 up on my queue was a good uncle character... Uncle Iroh, Uncle Fester, Uncle Jesse... good uncles are goated.

I don’t know why, but I almost shed a tear reading this. We grew up with Chun Li as one of the most iconic characters in all of videogames and to see hear achieve some peace and be able to relax is just so cathartic.

Still bitter from that loss, I see...
