Seriously. Such good games.

Fair, carry on!

Judgmental much? I’ve watched plenty of “mature” anime but shonen shows would dominate the top of my list and I’m damn near 40.

I mean, I’ve seen all of those anime except Helsing Ultimate and his choices are just as good (even if what you offer up is pretty amazing too). Don’t begrudge the man his top picks. The man obviously knows what’s inspired him the most.

Exactly, we didn’t have streaming with a million choices back then. We watched what they gave us. Still loved it though.

I don’t know. I’m Asian and progressive, but don’t think it’s particularly productive to be digging up “eh” instances of “racism” from 2006 to get mad about.

I mean it was a cool announcement and BT was a solid series overall, but my decades-long dream already came true with FighterZ, an amazing 2D competitive fighter with MvC roots.

As a progressive, this attitude is exactly what turns off people of the left.

That’s what I was thinking. I loved how the contestants were all (outwardly) good sports and talked about having fun and enjoying their matches with each other.

Cue the Sonic “Cheaters Never Prosper” campaign (was it also in Street Fighter 2 or something? My memory from way back then is foggy.)

You buy Elden Ring, you play Elden Ring, you rinse Elden Ring and then you’re done with it! There are no DLC packs, no season passes, no multiplayer modes selling skins for $2. What you paid for is what you got. For many people raised on less exploitative games, or tired of modern gaming’s demands (or both!), Elden

1 is a good point. I get its practical nature, but perhaps there was a better way to go about it to encourage exploration and observation as opposed to spamming and completionism.

Thanks for the share and your thoughtful commentary!

I’m only somewhat aware of what Rowling has said about trans-people, but what I’ve seen has been not overwhelmingly offensive. Ignorant in many ways, yes, but child’s play compared to the daily drivel spewed up by conservative commentators and influencers.

This makes me wonder if America have any ongoing advertising campaign where each new commercial furthers the story... any good examples for big brands?

I assume that everyone who complained about Episode 3 expanding on a backstory (although we all know, in many cases, it’s because they’re too insecure, sheltered, and/or juvenile to handle a little light kissing and touching between two men) are also similarly complaining about Episode 4 expanding on a backstory?

I just want to say for the one millionth time - if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. They need to drill this into people’s heads in school or something instead of the “go big or go home” fluff we get so much of. Until, we as Americans can prove we are responsible enough to manage or even understand r

Exactly, especially because what happens in videogames doesn’t necessary translate as impactfully onto the screen.

That’s hilarious lol
