Got sucked into a “free-to-play” mobile game 7 years ago. ~$10,000 later... (well, at least I’m playing and getting enjoyment out of it)

I’m completely with you on this. Nothing tastes better than a Coke (or Sprite OR FANTA) after a day of moderate to heavy exercise, preferably in a different country (sightseeing counts too).

Such a asinine argument. Are people not allowed to take a little time to decompress? I work a 9-5, have a side gig as a hobby, am on the board of multiple professional associations, and have a life yet still need a little bit of me-time to stay refreshed, sane, and happy.

This is awesome, but there is one magazine in my mind that reigns supreme... Gamefan.

Actually, to be fair, if you’re of a certain age (mid-30s+), there’s a decent chance you have no idea who Mr. Beast is. Just because he seems to be hyper popular in younger demographics doesn’t mean older demos have any clue who he is.

As someone who travels to Europe a decent amount, loves history, loves museums, loves sightseeing, loves medieval ****, etc. this is EXACTLY the kind of unique slow-paced game that piques my interest these days.

Absolutely fantastic game that I replay about once a decade.

Agreed. However, there are still good ways to incorporate “crafting” into a game. For example, when there is a compelling reward at the end and not just random ass bullets or fire arrows (i.e., ammo). Like when you can “craft” the best weapons in the game...
