I think it’s important to note that Trump supporters can still be extremely nice, friendly, and kind, especially in the own communities and where they feel accepted. Some of the nicest people I know are Trump supporters.

Slightly unrelated to the direct discussion of Bridget, but I find it amusing and incredibly sad that people who call others “snowflakes” get so offended by the idea of making one or two extremely minor tweaks to their vocabulary to accommodate and make trans- and non-binary folks feel welcome.

Thank you for giving Dead Zone the respect it deserves. The fights (even against the henchmen) are fantastic and feature more thoughtful martial arts choreography than what’s seen in later in the series.

Seriously, I really enjoyed reading all your personal takes (and am glad that several people shared my reservations with roguelikes, but ended up loving the game).

I absolutely LOVE the art-style of Hades and want to give it a try (would pay), but rogue-like games are kind of a turn-off to me. Not that they aren’t great many times, but I kind of resent the whole lose-(almost)-everything when-you-die model.

I’m so glad the stigma’s pretty much gone. I remember growing up and anime (and cartoons) being ridiculed as childish and dorky. I didn’t care, I thought they were fun, but I wouldn’t bring it up in casual conversation when trying to be cool.

In an industry that gravitates towards retreads of all-too familiar gameplay concepts, this is a breath of fresh air. We could use more fun ideas like this that seem like they came straight from some child’s imagination rather than CoD: Future Modern WW2 Warfare 5 (although I do like those games too).
