Personally I think BoP has no place in endurance racing. You make the best car you can to the regulations with the whole point being outright speed vs reliability. Ford shouldn't have to sandbag and Chevrolet/Porsche shouldn't have to be detuned as long as their cars were within the rules in the first place.
