For those of us w/out a “solid gaming PC”, regardless of the VR equipment used - the cost of entry is relatively high. Especially when compared to the relatively meager cost these days of owning a console and buying a console ported PC game.

I was responding to OPs post about “...not having a resolution to Half-Life”. Alyx is a prequel. Also - notice how my post doesn’t say anything negative about Alyx? I’ve played it on a friend’s machine, it’s awesome.

My comment was referencing the relatively high cost of entry for VR (especially for people who don’t ha

Here’s Half Life: Alyx instead! ...... oh and you need to pay a grand for hardware.

Gabe referring to Valve profit margins on the Steam Deck is rich. Pun intended.

F.E.A.R. was fantastic. A rare combo of horror & FPS, with punchy weapons, enemy A.I. that compared to (or is better than) a lot of modern day shooters, and some entertainingly over-the-top rag doll physics. It may not have aged as gracefully but I still consider it a diamond in the rough for that era of gaming.

This commenter gets it - a fire or other disaster is likely to cause a power outage, and if the doors are locked with no power, the employees stuck inside will burn to death, or asphyxiate, or get crushed, etc.

Singularity and The Darkness were both pretty competent games. It’s a genuine shame that Singularity was ignored to such a degree, as the gameplay mechanics were fun and engaging, the level design and time-puzzles were clever, and the story was relatively entertaining (for a ~2010 shooter)

It must be sooo tough being popular, rich, and a certified b*tch.

Unless your collection is all DVDs, your owned movies all probably have higher framerates, better resolution, and more advanced surround sound than 95% of everything else available on a streaming service

Okay millenial... err GenZ’er... uhh what are they calling you youngins these days?

Bed on the floor and a 27" TV on a box - looks like they couldn’t afford a night out if they wanted it.
Def here for the Bezos blowup, however

Can’t be any worse than gaming on the throne.

Someone’s always gonna complain - who doesn’t like a fun license plate? Here’s mine

...and yet you responded anyways. Perfect encapsulation of a Tesla stan acting like they’re not Tesla-stanning on a Jalopnik Tesla article

God damn! That’s a spicy post
