It’s because when you order a hamburger at a fast food place, you invariably receive a cheeseburger! As someone who likes hamburgers, but not cheeseburgers, I have encountered this over and over again. But somehow it seems to work when you ask for a cheeseburger, no cheese (most of the time). I actually usually ask

I’m pretty sure I had this blackout poetry idea first.

I’m sorry. I’m going to call this person mentally ill. There are behaviors that sane, stable people do not engage in. I’d call someone who was hallucinating (non-intentionally) mentally ill, someone who was suicidal mentally ill, and someone who desecrates a corpse because the person *might* have once dated their

OMg, me too.

Ha, same. That may have been the first thing that actually made me shed a real tear while at work - where I hold it together, no matter how sad!

Wow, it took me WAY to long to understand “Heads, she wins. Tails, I lose” today.

I don’t get my nails done, but I don’t see how it’s any different than other salon services.

I can’t speak to this directly, but everyone I know who worked at McDonalds kind of loves McDonalds. Feels they were treated well and given a job during tough times. I’m talking about people who are still working in food service/retail up to people who are CEOs now - they all seem grateful for their McDonalds time.

I have my resume on my work desktop. But it is honestly (primarily) because I’ve had to send it to people for work-related things. Giving talks or trainings as part of my current job.

I love “I light your straw man on fire!”

Hey, but it turns out that women DON’T unilaterally control the birth because both parties took on the risk of pregnancy when they decided to have sex.

I feel for a man in that situation. And I hope he chose a sexual partner that will be willing to have that conversation with him and seriously consider his point of view in making her decision. But the bottom line is that it has to be her decision.

I’m with you. I don’t get the responses that are like “this isn’t sexist, it’s not that girls can’t do numbers, it’s that fairy princesses can’t!” Well, fairy princesses are stereotypical female so... same difference.

I’ve been trying to convince my fiance of this. Thanks. I love both kinds of potatoes. But white potatoes are a healthy food too!

If someone thinks fried chicken and creamy ranch dressing is healthier than some grilled meat on bread, just because of the word “salad,” I say that’s their own fault.

Yeah, pretty racist. But I’m also not confident I wouldn’t read have read this picture as a “jail” picture myself. So, I’m pretty racist. Or, like, it’s a true thing that our society has associated black people with braids and black people with jail and so someone with braids standing in front of a chain link fence

I saw a documentary once that profiled a transman who was at a women’s college - he began transitioning after enrollment. I’m pretty sure it was even Smith college. I am fully in support of this news. Finally! Women should be allowed to enroll at women’s colleges! But, frankly, I’m not sure how I feel about it the

lol and the blooper when the lady yells at him “Over-actor!” and he’s totally taken aback. Hilarious.

Why would you put things on your registry that you didn’t actually think were acceptable as gifts? Why do you feel any of your guest OWE you a gift in the first place?

I could almost see like a health class suggestion that you keep a food log - for your eyes only! Because as a teenager I thought I was eating “healthy” by eating big old bowls of pasta and veggies and wondered why I was fat. I didn’t understand just how many calories I was consuming or the importance of portion size
