I actually don't really remember. Wikipedia tells me Goldie Hawn ends up with a new lover, but also starring in a play where she plays a woman her age. Bette Midler ends up getting back with her husband, but not being a downtrodden housewife anymore. And I'm pretty sure the Diane Keaton character stays single.

I'm always just kinda shocked that other women wear so much daily makeup. Don't get me wrong. I love makeup. I love the artistry of it. If I'm going on a date, or to a party, or presenting or interviewing - MAKEUP!

I don't think First Wives Club falls into that trope though. It's about the women who gave everything up for men... and, at first, think they really have lost everything when they lose those men too. But instead find their strength, and sisterhood, and become strong and independent and self-actualized.

I suppose. I do see your point. At the same time, I feel like this movie is about women who previously were very much defined by their husbands and are now finding their backbone, getting their careers back, embracing their age, etc.

I was with you before the idea that, like, you can't have an emotional connection with people if you're promiscuous, man.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ARTICLE.

Right. And, like, if people are all falling asleep at the wheel and driving fast in ways that they didn't used to, hey, maybe we have a societal problem on our hands and not an individual one?

Yeah, Rihanna is sexy and all, but I get the impression that she would be SO MUCH DRAMA. And I feel like Jay is older and wiser than all that now.

Yes! She had sex with her dolphin too.... but I kinda halfway understood why after listening to that episode. Like, she was living 24/7 with a horny young dolphin trying to teach him English so she'd help get him off so he wouldn't be humping her all the time and she could get on with her day. Still, weird! And they

"I don't think jealousy was a big part of what caused this relationship to founder."

Soooo.... while I totally know that Urban Outfitters has had a bad history of using stuff like this to generate controversy, hasn't the pink triangle been pretty thoroughly reclaimed by the gay community as a symbol of pride?

Yeah, I'm really hoping I get a streak of gray like Stacey London in a few years. Mine are all sort of in the same spot... or maybe those are just the only grays I can see...

lol. Back of my thighs. So hard to get at, but a goldmine.

I'm so glad we're all so weird.

I bow down to your clear superiority for happening to live in a country that approved the vaccine for use before another country did.

Did your old doctor just not tell you about it because he considered you low risk? Because, yeah, who cares if you're a virgin at the moment... it's still a handy preventative thing to have.

Which is actually sort of a shame, since they are much more likely to get HPV than AIDS. Or babies, probably, if they're using condoms or pulling out. This makes me wish our sex education were much more risk-based.

So, diagnose me! I actually do lots of different kinds of repetitive fussing with my hair. I find the kinker hairs on my head, usually at the bottom near my ears, and pull those out. I also enjoy searching for split ends. I don't split them, but break them off above the split by that little white dot or the lighter

Fun fact: Ne-yo wrote Beyonce's "Irreplaceable." I find it so interesting listening to his version. Beyonce's is like this female empowerment thing. The way Ne-yo sings it, it sounds to me like he's fronting, "I could have another you in a minute!" even though he's heartbroken.

When my fiance and I decided we were doing this thing, we totally merged finances. We have a joint account and basically all our money goes into and out of it with total transparency.
