The Warriors are so good that if you get them down...you have to absolutely keep attacking them to kill them. The last 2 games, OKC didn’t do that. They settled for lousy looking midrange jumpers after bleeding clock. There was no point during the game last night when I thought OKC was actually going to win, because

How in the world does the batter get to 2B if you’re stopped at first tagging? If that ball drops in, the runner isn’t even getting to 3B, let alone the batter to 2B. Which is why you go halfway. And which is why you never see this event happen in a baseball game.

You go halfway. With an OF running at full speed toward the wall, if you ended up on 2B if the ball is in the park but isn’t caught, everyone would wonder what the hell was wrong with you. A ball hit that deep, you’re trying for at LEAST third. This is also why you never, ever see this happen. If he truly made a

Seriously? I wouldn’t advise going through life without at least one long road-trip. I suppose you could do that by bike....different experience. Day to day, I get. But never?

As a driver in DC...my only asks are that (a) do what you’re talking about here - make yourself as big and obvious as possible, even when that means taking up a lane where there is no bike lane. You have the right to the road too, and (b) don’t co-mingle being a pedestrian with being part of traffic. If you weave in

Ok Computer is in my top 3 albums...but it’s the only Radiohead album I really love start to finish, and I think that’s okay. If people want to pick and choose songs rather than lavish praise on each album, why should anyone complain? I think that’s part of the problem - some RH fans want you to love the entire

I guess I could see being upset had the Spurs not ended up on a near 3 on 1 break, where 2 players inside of 8 feet of the basket passed up shots (or getting to the free throw line) to throw it out for a contested 3 down 1 point. That’s just Darwinism.

I agree about Sling. Load times generally aren’t an issue for me (occasionally, it does lag), but I’ve got pretty substantial bandwidth at home and am running on a Roku 3.

One thing to note: yes, the TSA precheck program is $85 - but it lasts for 5 years. At $17 a year - at least for me, living in DC and flying out of DCA all the time - it’s an incredible bargain.

“The best fighter on UFC 194’s main card is either José Aldo, a legend of the sport, or middleweight champion Chris Weidman, a legend in the making.”

I think at the college level, there are just so many more considerations than at the pro level. For these students, it brings continuity to a program they’re already locked into, and some certainty. That’s important for current and near-term success.

I’m by no means a Knicks fan, but any guy over 7 feet that has that kind of touch on his shot - and apparent work ethic - has the potential to be extremely good. Few, if any, do. So yeah, it’s newsworthy.

If I were Welker, I’d be more worried about practicing against a Greggggg Williams defense than anything he’s going to see during a game.

Uh...the thing is, if you’ve actually walked in someone else’s shoes, you - by definition - wouldn’t experience empathy for them. Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes without having actually walked in them. That’s the magic of empathy - the exercise of vicariously experiencing what someone

Um...Maddon must be only talking about his time with the Cubs. As manager of the Rays, his team threw at more AL East batters than every other team combined, and were the instigator more often than not.

They’ve faced a pair of excellent defenses in the Bills and Jets” Wait, is this the same Bills defense that allowed 40 points against the Pats? Let’s maybe change the adjective on that one.
