FYI, this is the color Emirates airlines recommends to their flight attendants, if you want to see the shade on lots of different skintones. For some reason their on-the-job looks are very popular tutorials.

I really really hope you’re right.

I feel the same now, whereas all my life I was so eager to shed my 12-letter difficult to prounounce last name.

We’re all women in our 20s, so I really really hope not! Why do you ask?

LOVE these!! Also, would love to know more about the Russian group focusing on *prevention*, maybe virality would help some ignorant people see sense.

Some sign ideas I’ve had:

“Threatening women makes Me feel better about my life”
“I need a hobby”
“[name of your town] needs more children in poverty!”
“We’re scared”
“Freedom of choice = Do as I say”
“I don’t want to help the needy, so I’ll just stand here”

Now, if only I can convince my friends to give up their Saturday

I recommend hanging out in a bar where your local service industry folks go. Bring it up casually in conversation, “you know what I could really go for now?” Or try your local hippie sandwich/pizza shop during a slow time of day. Most stoners want to help their fellow stoners :)

Oh, absolutely! That’s the horrifying part, we only get to know most of our neighbors/coworkers/acquaintances by their outward presentation. I really hope the next wave of social media shaming comes with full names and pictures.

I suppose there’s truth in the stereotype of these people lacking friends, jobs, or productive contributions to society...

Yep! Here I was feeling sad for my friends who don’t wear sunscreen, and this thread has me convinced I should to start Retin-A!

Dermapen isn’t microdermabrasion, I suppose you could call it “micro puncture”... Dozens of tiny needles pricking the skin, as opposed to scraping the epidermis.

I don’t know, I’d read up on the procedure.. It seems like collagen production would be involved in the skin’s repair process. I’m 27, treating acne scars from 3 years ago, and have yet to experience the wonders of losing elasticity :/

I’d imagine so! I know for sure some of my scars were created from my own picking problem... I’d ask a dermatologist if they a) offer the treatment and b) if they break down the cost by affected areas. My guess? they’ll charge you for the whole face your first round.

Ahhh makes sense! I’ve been using it before because in my mind, no sense applying shampoo to hair that is full of buildup. Gonna try it in between...

Agent Orange

My scars have been reduced enough that I don’t feel the need to wear foundation most days, which is pretty damn good! Boxcar and rolling (I think?) describe the same pattern and I still see those, but they aren’t as large and are less pronounced. They used to really show when I smiled, the skin on my cheeks looked

Just wondering, why do you rinse with ACV in between shampoo and conditioner? My hair is thick with loose curls, and I wash it every 2-3 days.. I use ACV as the first step, because otherwise my hair just feels gunky if I apply the shampoo first. Do you notice this too?

By mild indentation, do you mean “ice pick” acne scars? I’ve got a combo of those, and “boxcar” scars from a horrible breakout three years ago. I’ve done six treatments of Dermapen (once monthly) and have seen great results!! Started at $125 for the whole face, then my esthetician reduced the cost to $75 and treatment

What was the point of your diatribe if it concludes with Hilary is “the best we have” and the Clinton’s in office again will do great things, yet they’ll have to fight for what they want done?
