Of course I read it. It states exactly what I have said. Withholding rates are one matter and tax rates are another matter. Others have dumbed it down for you and I will try it too. Taxes are withheld from bonus the same as your regular salary. There are various methods of witholding when it comes to bonuses. Not

Why are you doubling down on stupidity by moving the goalposts with nonsense and gibberish?

LOL,

As I stated in another post, there is a difference between withholding rates and tax rates. If too much is withheld, you will receive a refund. I too have all my bonuses withheld at a 40% rate. My actual effective tax rate is lower and comes back to me as a refund. If you do not believe me, go back to your previous

Withholding rate and tax rate are not the same. As I and many other have said, bonuses are NOT taxed at a higher rate.

Of course. Part of my job involves accounting and finance. Can you tell me where I am wrong?

Withholding and tax rate are not the same. If too much is withheld, you get the money back as a return. If too little is withheld, you cut a check to the Treasury. Unless the bonus bumps a person into a higher bracket and taxed at the next progressive rate, bonuses do not get taxed at a high rate.

Yes they do and the link confirms what I have stated.

That is incorrect. Bonuses are NOT taxed at a higher rate.

I was part of a group that drank from a “pure and natural” spring during a hike. The guide gave us the usual shpeal about good for you, natives have been drinking here for centuries, cures gout, prevents premature ejaculation, connects you with the spirit of ancient ancestors, etc. Needless to say everyone that drank

Who won the, “Rent out the back of an Escalade to a call girl to service Johns and get it cleaned up in 30 seconds when the owner unexpectedly shows up 3 hours earlier than expected” event?

Between telemarketers and “Microsoft/Yahoo/Dell support” calls, I rarely have people just call me out of the blue. Initial communication is almost always via SMS and then a call if something needs to discussed live.

So many people are degrading their batteries because they use outdated “conventional wisdom” relevant to older chemistries like NiCAD and NiMH. Li-Ion batteries do not have a”memory effect” and running them until they are deep discharged is not recommended. I personally try not to discharge my phone batteries past 50%

I’m guessing this was published on Gizmodo because Jalopnik would not have created the Outrage of the Day™ reaction.

I’ve come to realize that at least 50% of Americans never plan more than 30 seconds into the future, Rather than think their actions through, many simply plow ahead with bad choices then expect others to bail them out. I’ve made plenty of mistakes but there is always a Plan B or way to make things right. So many folks

I have security video footage of an OnTrac driver leave a Amazon package on a pile of discarded boxes along side the trash bin on garbage day. Sure enough, 15 minutes later the trash truck shows up and everything gets tossed into the compactor. When I called up Amazon and forwarded the representative the video link,

As someone that had one of the first MetroCards, I FTFY, “On Monday, the finance committee for New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority approved a plan to phase out the MetroCard by 2123.”

Having owned a EV for over 5 years, I realized savings gobeyond fuel. I no longer need to go in for oil changes. Regenerative braking means the current set of brake pads and discs will last decades. The less complex powertrain has had no mechanical issues. Heck, the only maintenance items are rotate the tires (no cost

Out of all the cars I’ve owned, I came to love Alcantara. All the pluses of leather and cloth rolled into one magic material.
