You can modify a remote starter to work with a car with a proper transmission. None of them work out of the box but it’s usually something as simple as grounding the wire that tells the system that the car is in “park”.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one: I like the 3rd gen OK, but the 2nd gen is my personal soft spot (though I prefer the Trans Am to the Z28). And the late end of that gen looked the best to me.

I love myself some 3rd gen Camaros. Prefer them to the Trans Ams of the same era, but only marginally. Although my personal soft spot is for the late 2nd gen Z28, hence why I own a 1980.

I agree! Hell I like their Firebird counterparts even more, ESPECIALLY compared to the Fox-Body Mustang, but then I personally consider the Fox Mustang to be one of the ugliest sports cars ever built.
